At BRL, sometimes there is a perfect match between a tutor and a learner.

Dan and Pedro are such a case.

Pedro has made the leap to a new country -- coming from Cuba. Newly retired, Dan, is gearing up to travel the world. These two are are studying a new language and finding ways to exchange culture through our tutoring program.

We love to see Pedro and Dan working together on Mondays here at BRL.

They are forging ahead with their lives, but together.

Giving and taking the best from each other.

It's truly a great example of Blue Ridge Literacy's mission at work.
